Principals of Bishkek schools, previously detained by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS), were taken into custody. The decisions were made by the judges of the Pervomaisky District Court.
It is known that the director of school No. 101 in Ak-Bosogo residential area, Asyl Kadyrova, was caught red-handed while taking a bribe for enrolling a child in the first grade. According to investigators, when the parents refused to give the money, she said that she would not admit the child to school.
Gulnura Arziyeva, director of school-gymnasium No. 51, has been placed in the pre-trial detention center. She was detained on September 1 while taking 5,000 soms for a positive decision on the transfer of a child to school.
Earlier, the SCNS reported the detention of four school principals. All of them are charged with bribe-taking.
