Minister of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan Talantbek Imanov explained why the ministry needs a state data processing center (DPC). He posted the comment on Facebook.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development noted that this is a national-scale project. He stressed that in the age of digitalization, the flow of information necessary for interaction and data exchange between government bodies is increasing daily. There is a rapid development of innovative types of communication.
«The amount of information that needs to be processed and analyzed is constantly growing, the number of automated information systems used is rapidly increasing, and there is a need to centralize data processing in processing centers. We need the construction of a state data center. It will meet the needs of state bodies in information resources, create a high-quality new IT infrastructure, lay the foundation for the development of information systems and the implementation of digitalization plans,» Talantbek Imanov concluded.
Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Development announced a competition for the design of a state data processing center. It plans to spend 84,878,312 soms on it.
