According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, the reserves of yellow metal in the gold and foreign currency reserves of Kyrgyzstan amount to 16.7 tons. The World Gold Council provided such data.
Compared to March, the figure increased by 1 ton, and with December 2022 — by 300 kilograms.
The share of gold in reserves is growing. If at the end of last year it amounted to 34.1 percent, then at the end of May 2023 it reached 42.9 percent.
