The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev met with the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways Shukhrat Khudaikulov.
The parties discussed current and future issues in the field of civil aviation. Particular attention is paid to expanding the geography of flights between countries and the possibility of increasing the frequency of flights by national air carriers of the two countries.
The Uzbek side was invited to consider and test new seasonal flights on Samarkand — Tamchi — Osh — Tashkent route.
The management of Uzbekistan Airways outlined plans to increase flights on Tashkent — Bishkek — Tashkent route. The parties agreed that the increase in number of flights will have a positive impact on the tourism sector.
As a result of the meeting, the parties also reached an agreement to actively work with tour operators.
