Former Minister of Natural Resources Dinara Kutmanova «put on a show» with her son’s kidnapping, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said in an interview with Kabar state news agency.
The head of state said that the investigation would prove the guilt of the ex-official of misappropriation of money. If it is not confirmed, she will be acquitted.

It turned out that they themselves organized this in order to avoid punishment. He is in Turkey now. He will be deported soon. How can we not hold them accountable just because she supported the Kumtor issue? According to the information that I received, she embezzled money allocated by Kumtor for the environment. Her own sister openly told where and how much money was transferred. Her son will testify. The investigation will show. If she is not involved, she will be acquitted. If they have appropriated, they will pay. Everything will be open to the public,» Sadyr Japarov said.
Earlier, the ex-head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Dinara Kutmanova told 24.kg news agency that her son Kemelbek was kidnapped in Istanbul. According to her, the kidnapers demanded $600,000 as a ransom. The Ministry of Internal Affairs denied the information of Dinara Kutmanova.
