The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan — Jeenbek Kulubaev and Malaysia — Zambry Abdul Kadir signed a letter of intent on bilateral cooperation following the negotiations.
The letter of intent marks a new beginning in bilateral relations between the two countries. It reflects a shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in a wide range of areas, including trade, investment, education and tourism.
The agreement is expected to pave the way for even closer cooperation between the two countries in the coming years.
Recall, Foreign Minister of Malaysia Zambry Abdul Kadir arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit on June 2 at the invitation of the minister Jeenbek Kulubaev.
During the visit, he will also meet with the President Sadyr Japarov, Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov and Speaker of the Parliament Nurlanbek Shakiev.
