Cabinet of Ministers to allocate additional funds for Batken region

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan plans to allocate additional funds to support Batken region. Deputy Dastan Bekeshev reported on his Telegram channel.

He noted that the Cabinet of Ministers submitted for approval of deputies proposals for additional expenditures that were not previously included in the budget. It is planned to allocate 35 million soms to the State Agency for Cartography and Geodesy for the demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek and the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.

The authorities also want to provide additional support to Batken region and entrepreneurs in the region.

Thus, 10.6 million soms are planned to be spent on support of businessmen who suffered during the border conflict in September 2022. In addition, 30 million soms will be spent from the budget on paying off the debts of the owner of the burned-out poultry farm Aysalkyn Abytova. The office of the Presidential Envoy to Batken region will receive 168 million soms.
