Labour Ministry launches project on employment of youth and migrants

The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan is launching a project on the employment of youth and migrants. Press service of the ministry reported.

The Deputy Minister Zhyldyz Polotova discussed with representatives of the World Bank implementation of a joint project Strengthening Social Assistance and Labor Market in the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to her, the project is focused primarily on supporting needy families who receive ui-bulogo komok allowance, including through the introduction of a new method of its granting and payment.

«The project includes help to low-income families in transition from the position of allowance recipient to the position of individual entrepreneurs. Families will be trained in writing business plans, and young people, including returning labor migrants, will be able to receive free vocational education and then assistance in finding a job. It is important that young people will be able to receive good scholarships during their studies,» she said.

Details of implementation of the project components, strengthening the social security system of the republic were discussed at the meeting.
