At least 11,000 foreign citizens obtained work permits in Kyrgyzstan in 2022. The Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration, Nurdoolot Bazarbaev, said at a meeting of the Council for Migration under the Speaker of the Parliament.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan allocates 16,000 quotas for a work visa per year.
In total, 22,800 foreigners are now officially working in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, some 1,286 foreigners received the status of a digital nomad.
