Kyrgyzstan’s healthcare professionals will have more opportunities to respond to healthcare risks. The U.S. Embassy in Bishkek reported.
According to it, they will improve their mortality reporting skills and learn how to use newly developed electronic systems, as well as be able to train their colleagues around the country.
The Ministry of Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are collaborating to understand the true death rate from COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan, improve epidemiological surveillance of mortality, and develop its electronic system. This data can be used to find patterns and trends. Such information is useful in setting public health priorities and can help track progress in addressing major causes of death at the local, national and international levels.
