China is ready to start the second phase of construction of Junda oil refinery. Press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Within the framework of his visit to China, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Temir Sariev met with the Chairman of the China Council for Promotion of International Trade of Shaanxi province Ma Yuhong.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed the importance of developing trade and investment between Kyrgyzstan and Shaanxi province, and also expressed his readiness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening business ties between both sides.
During the meeting, ways to promote trade exchange were discussed, including increasing exports and imports of goods and services, development of joint projects and attracting investments.
Participants of the meeting also discussed investment in the economy of Kyrgyzstan by the Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group, which is responsible for the construction of Junda oil refinery in Kara-Balta. Representatives of the company expressed their intention to start the second stage of the construction of the plant and focus on the deep processing of oil products of the European standard K5, as well as on the production of polypropylene.
As a result of the negotiations, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and the China Council for Promotion of International Trade of Shaanxi province.
