The U.S. is imposing new export restrictions against Russia. The U.S. Commerce Department said on Friday.
At least 71 companies fell under the sanctions, including one each from Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. According to the list, the company in Kyrgyzstan is Tro.Ya, LLC.
They were added to the Commerce Department’s list primarily for supporting Russia’s military and defense sectors.
The targeted companies include aircraft repair and parts production plants, gunpowder, tractor and automobile factories, shipyards and engineering centers in Russia.
The website of the sanctioned Kyrgyzstan’s company says that it is a supplier of electronic equipment for various industries.
