The Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan reminds that all taxpayers are required to use electronic invoices from May.
New requirements for the use of invoices were introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers on April 6, 2023. Now all taxpayers must register in the information system of the Tax Service and draw up electronic invoices.
These requirements do not apply to taxpayers who carry out entrepreneurial activities using a cash register and pay tax based on a license or apply a zero rate based on a single tax with an annual revenue of not more than 8 million soms.
Recall, electronic invoices are mandatory for VAT payers, importers and exporters of goods since July 2020, and since from April 1, 2022 — for taxpayers whose annual turnover exceeds 8 million soms.
