The Bolkhovsky District Court issued a verdict in a criminal case against two citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Website of the Prosecutor’s Office of Oryol Oblast of Russia reports.
They were found guilty of attempted illegal sale of drugs on an especially large scale.
Kyrgyzstanis, acting as couriers, took from a stash a batch packed in four bundles (7 kilograms in total). However, they did not have time to sell it — they were detained.
The court sentenced them to 14 years in prison each.
The verdict has not entered into force yet and can be appealed, the Prosecutor’s Office of Oryol Oblast reports.
