A man was detained for distribution of extremist materials on social media in Sulyukta. Press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Batken region reported.
According to it, the 32-year-old local resident distributed symbols, audio materials, and appeals related to the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (Islamic Party of Turkestan) organization banned in Kyrgyzstan.
The fact was registered under article 332 «Production, distribution of extremist materials.» An investigation is underway.
