The Kyrgyz-Chinese border will be temporarily closed. The Department of Information and Communications of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
At the initiative of the Chinese side, in connection with celebration of Labor Day in the PRC, Torugart and Irkeshtam checkpoints will be closed from April 29 to May 1 inclusive.
The passage of persons, vehicles and goods will resume on May 2.
The Border Service urges car owners and cargo carriers to plan their routes in advance.
