Yekaterinburg hosts Eurasian Economic Youth Forum

The 13th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum started its work in Yekaterinburg (Russia). Representatives of 107 countries take part in it.

«The world is changing. It becomes multipolar. It must have a place for each country and for each individual citizen. That is why it is so important to learn to hold a dialogue — a dialogue on an equal footing,» Yakov Silin, rector of the Ural State University of Economics (USUE), said.

Participants of the forum from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other countries will offer their own vision of the development of cities and countries in the new economic and geopolitical environment. About 2,000 scientists, experts in the field of education, politicians, diplomats, entrepreneurs from 42 countries will give lectures and master classes. Schoolchildren and students will present their own projects on a competitive basis. Finalists of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum also include 12 students from Kyrgyzstan.

The first Media Forum «The work of the media in the new political, economic and international reality» was held within the framework of the event. It brought together representatives of 43 media from seven CIS countries.
