Six employees of the Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan were fired following an internal investigation. Its head Almazbek Akmatov announced at a meeting of Parliament.
Deputy Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov told about corruptness of the auditors of the Accounts Chamber. According to him, he worked in many places, but whenever the auditors of the Accounts Chamber come with a check, they were provided with hotel rooms and restaurants free of charge.
«We have fired six employees because of such facts. There is a department for combating corruption within. The problem is gradually being solved,» Almazbek Akmatov said.
He added that wages of employees have been increased since 2023.
