Construction of the remaining more than 80 houses out of 417 destroyed in Batken region will be completed before May 1. Deputy Director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services Aziret Akimov announced at a meeting of Ishenim parliamentary faction.
The deputies listened to the agency’s report on the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities, construction of residential buildings and social facilities in Batken.
Deputy Ulugbek Ormonov noted that the authorities promised to complete the restoration of the region by March 15. «Today is April 14th. When will construction work be completed?» he asked.
Aziret Akimov noted that at the beginning there was an agreement with contractors that the construction processes would be completed by December 31. «Then the deadline was extended until March 1, then until April 1. We again extended it to the end of April. God willing, we will complete everything by May 1,» the deputy director of the state agency said.
Amanat Stroy Invest construction company won a tender for the construction of residential buildings, in fact, it hired 33 subcontractors to carry out the work.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, promised to complete the restoration of facilities in the region by the end of December 2022.
