Situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border is characterized as stable. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Security agencies, together with state bodies, are taking measures aimed at prevention of destabilization.
In order to improve the quality of protection of the joint border, the border representatives of Kyrgyzstan constantly hold meetings with representatives of the Tajik side at various levels.
«However, cases of dissemination of unverified and unreliable information among the population have become more frequent recently. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic urges citizens not to believe various rumors and not to panic,» the statement says.
