Kyrgyzstan develops National Women's Entrepreneurship Agenda

Demilgiluu Aiymdar Coalition has developed the National Women’s Entrepreneurship Agenda in Kyrgyzstan. Chairwoman of the association Ainura Sagynbaeva announced at a press conference at 24.kg news agency.

According to her, the document can be called a roadmap for the development of women’s business and an effective form of an inclusive economy. It includes 16 different specific activities, which are grouped into four priorities.

«The first priority is to develop the potential of women in business. The role of the state, local government bodies is indicated here through the training of employees of local government bodies, government officials. They learn how to work with women’s entrepreneurship. The second priority is to increase the importance of women’s business in public policy,» Ainura Sagynbaeva said.

According to her, the third priority is related to the creation of a friendly environment in the financial sector. The fourth is the creation of a favorable environment in society.

Ainura Sagynbaeva noted that the National Agenda for Women’s Entrepreneurship is fully consistent with the development program of the Kyrgyz Republic, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which was adopted by Kyrgyzstan. «Our agenda harmonizes with state programs, concretely builds steps. Once again emphasizes the role of the state, government agencies. Allocation of budget money for the implementation of the agenda programs is mandatory,» she added.

Presentation of the document will take place on March 15 with the participation of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
