In January 2023, compared to the previous month, inflation in Kyrgyzstan was the highest among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
Inflation reached 1.5 percent, which is associated with an increase in food prices by 1.8 percent. Armenia takes the second place, where the price increase was 1.4 percent.
In January 2023, compared to January 2022, the highest inflation rate (20.7 percent) was registered in Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan takes the second place with inflation rate of 15.3 percent.
