Swimmer Denis Petrashov sets record at Atlantic Coast Conference championship

Denis Petrashov set a record at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship. The swimmer from Kyrgyzstan took the first place at the tournament. The Swimming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

The Kyrgyz swimmer won gold covering the distance of 200 meters breaststroke for 1:50:51.

«Denis is a wonderful swimmer and a true champion. He proved that if you have a goal and are willing to work hard, then you can achieve incredible results,» the Swimming Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

Earlier, Denis Petrashov took the second place in the 200-yard swim. Denis Petrashov’s time is 1:51.89.
