Bishkek hosted the 2nd Republican Swimming Competitions among people with disabilities. Organizers — the Federation of Para Swimming of the Kyrgyz Republic — informed 24.kg news agency.
«The competitions were held with the support of the Directorate for Olympic Sports in Parus swimming pool of the Kyrgyz National Military Lyceum named after Major General Asanov. More than 30 people aged 6 to 58 years participated in the competitions. Blind athletes, swimmers with cerebral palsy, disorders of the musculoskeletal system, without limbs and athletes with autism were among them,» the Federation informed.
The first Republican Para Swimming Competitions took place in Kyrgyzstan last year. Then 14 athletes participated in them.
