Projects have been launched in Kyrgyzstan to support national reforms in the field of teaching English (SNER) and English for STEAM education. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
According to it, the projects are implemented thanks to the U.S. Embassy.
«The Public Foundation for Innovative Education Lingua plans to train 880 English teachers using textbooks developed by the foundation and recommended by the Ministry of Education for use in secondary schools. As part of the project, the foundation will organize a 128-hour language course for 400 teachers of physics, chemistry and biology,» the ministry said.
It should be noted that February was declared the month of the English language, during which various events, competitions, exhibitions, meetings, conferences and demonstration lessons are planned to be held in educational institutions.
