The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan entered the foreign exchange market with intervention for the first time in February. Website of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
At least $47.1 million were sold with settlements different from the date of the transaction.
Last year, the National Bank conducted 15 interventions, including seven times it bought dollars on the market. In total, $190,740 million were purchased. At least $419,850 million were sold during eight interventions. Thus, the net sale of dollars in the market reached $229,110 million.
