For the first time in the history of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, the countries are entering a new level of relations. The President of the neighboring republic, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, said at a meeting in an expanded format in Ala-Archa state residence.

Social projects are being implemented, the international prestige of the Kyrgyz Republic is being strengthened. We intend to continue to support the reform program of the head of Kyrgyzstan,» he said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that a trustful conversation took place at the meeting in a narrow format.
«We scrupulously, slowly considered the issues in each area of our relations. We don’t have any problematic topics. For the entire period of 31-year relations between the states, this is the first dialogue of such a high level,» he added.
