The Chui Regional Center of Family Medicine will hold a campaign to detect cervical and breast cancer among women aged 25-60. The Republican Center for Health Promotion reported.
According to it, the campaign is timed to the World Cancer Day.
«The main goal of the event is to draw public attention to the importance of early diagnosis of oncological diseases, early treatment and prevention of cervical and breast cancer,» the center noted.
About 5,500 new cases of oncological diseases are registered annually in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan ranks the first among Central Asian countries in terms of mortality from these diseases.
