The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan warns of snowfall and avalanches on the mountain passes. Press service of the ministry reported.
According to it, due to heavy precipitation from January 12 to January 14 in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, snowfall, avalanches and ice are expected at the 121-138 kilometers of Bishkek — Osh highway (Too-Ashuu pass), at 198-265 kilometers (Ala-Bel pass and Chichkan gorge) and ath the 1-14th kilometers (Otmok pass).
Drivers are advised to keep a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
