The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan held a working meeting to discuss the activities of Mailuu-Suu Electric Bulb Plant OJSC.
Akylbek Japarov was told about the activities of the enterprise and projects for the production of glass containers as well as the reconstruction of a glass furnace.
Earlier, the plant was granted a budget loan in the amount of 1 billion soms, and the first tranche in the amount of 400 million soms was transferred.
The head of the Cabinet noted that the enterprise should start working in full, ensuring high quality standards and production efficiency.
«The plant should work day and night, in several shifts, if necessary. It was given a budget loan, and we will ensure that the funds are used strictly for their intended purpose. The manufactured products of the city-forming enterprise must meet all the required standards and high quality. The plant should provide the entire republic with LED lamps, as well as high-quality glass containers for domestic manufacturing companies,» he said.
The Cabinet of Ministers previously approved a list of goods produced by the plant. It will supply products to state organizations, to enterprises with a state share of ownership. The decision was made in order to prevent job cuts and improve the financial condition of Mailuu-Suu Electric Bulb Plant OJSC, support the city-forming enterprise and further develop the lighting industry.
