Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Bakyt Torobaev, checked readiness of Mailuu-Suu town for the autumn-winter period 2023/24. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Bakyt Torobaev got acquainted with the state of boiler houses No. 1 and No. 3 of Kyrgyzteploenergo state enterprise. To date, work has been completed on laying new water pipelines and supplying artesian water to boiler room No. 3. In addition, testing of the system for discharge of water into pipelines is carried out. It was noted that the overhaul work will be completed by September.
At least 2.7 million soms were allocated from the budget for the installation of pipelines and boiler house No. 3.
Bakyt Torobaev also got acquainted with the progress of Kambar-Ata HPP-1 construction project. Construction of a road from the 318th kilometer of Bishkek — Osh highway leading to Kambar-Ata HPP-1 (ring canal), a transport tunnel, as well as the installation of high-voltage power lines is underway at the facility.
In addition, design work is underway on construction of a bridge and new access roads to Naryn river, as well as a temporary camp for builders.
Bakyt Torobaev got acquainted with the activities of Mailuu-Suu Electric Bulb Plant OJSC, which, after bankruptcy, was transferred to the state. To provide state support to domestic producers, the Ministry of Finance allocated 1 billion soms to the plant. The funds will be used to purchase equipment for the production of glass containers in the form of jars and bottles, as well as to reconstruct a glass melting furnace. The plant provides jobs for 1,500 people.
