At least 756 women used the services of Ayalzat Municipal Crisis Center in Bishkek. The Deputy Director of the Department of Social Development of the Bishkek City Hall Larisa Gubina told at a press conference.
Ayalzat is the only center that provides not only asylum, but also social support: restoration of documents, enrollment of children in kindergartens and schools, and development of a social passport, she said.
The first municipal crisis center for women with children affected by domestic violence opened in February 2021. It is designed for 60 places (mother plus children).
