Two new collectible coins are put into circulation from December 12, 2022, — «Asian Games» from «Sports» series and «Kashgar Barberry» from «Red Book of Kyrgyzstan» series. Website of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The coins were issued to commemorate important events and achievements in the field of sports, as well as to promote the Olympic movement among young people and popularize physical culture and sports events, as well as to promote and preserve rare flora species of the republic listed in the Red Book of Kyrgyzstan.
The main plot of the front side of the «Asian Games» coin is the image of the official emblem of the XIX Asian Games in the city of Hangzhou against the background of the Chinese yin-yang symbol with figures of athletes in the form of a pictogram representing various sports of the Asian Games. There is an inscription with the name of the coin: «Asia Oyundary — 2022/2022 Asian Games», as well as the metal fineness (Ag 925), weight (31.10 g) and the nominal value of the coin (10 soms).
The main plot of the reverse side of the coin are stylized images of athletes. The coat of arms of Kyrgyzstan is depicted in the center of the coin. There is an inscription along the circumference: «The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic/Kyrgyz Respublikasynyn Uluttuk Banky». The year of issue of the coin (2022) is indicated at the bottom.
The coin was issued with a circulation of 1,000 pieces. Its cost is 3,740 soms.
The main plot of the reverse side of the coin is a stylized image of a Kashgar barberry bush with berries. The coat of arms of Kyrgyzstan is depicted in the center of the coin. There is an inscription around the circumference: «Kyrgyzstandyn Kyzyl kitebi». The year of issue of the coin (2022) is indicated at the bottom.
The coin was issued with a circulation of 1,000 pieces. Its cost is 3,690 soms.
