President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will not come to Kyrgyzstan to attend the summit of the Heads of State of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Deputy Foreign Minister Aibek Moldogaziev confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
He recalled that Uzbekistan has observer status in the EAEU and the Prime Minister of the country Abdulla Aripov will arrive in Bishkek. «As for the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan, it will take place separately,» Aibek Moldogaziev explained.
It was reported earlier that Shavkat Mirziyoyev will arrive in the Kyrgyz Republic on December 10.
A Kyrgyz-Uzbek Business Forum will also be held on the eve of the visit of the head of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan.
In connection with the ongoing events on December 8-10, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on the roads of Chui region and Bishkek.
Meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held under the chairmanship of President Sadyr Japarov on December 9.
