Bishkek will host international events with the participation of foreign leaders on December 9 −10. The head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Executive Office Muratbek Azymbakiev announced.
A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held under the chairmanship of President Sadyr Japarov on December 9.
«The heads of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will discuss the current economic situation, as well as topical issues of integration in the Eurasian space. The leaders of the EAEU countries will sum up the results of the outgoing year and exchange views on the prospects for the development of the Union. It is planned to adopt a number of documents aimed at strengthening partnership between the EAEU member states, as well as regulating the activities of the Union,» Muratbek Azymbakiev said.
The state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan will take place on December 10.
«During the visit, bilateral negotiations with Sadyr Japarov are planned. The leaders of the two countries in a narrow and expanded format will discuss a wide range of issues of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek strategic partnership, as well as plans for further development of relations in the spirit of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness. In addition, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents,» the official added.
A Kyrgyz-Uzbek Business Forum will also be held on the eve of Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Kyrgyzstan.
In connection with the events on December 8-10, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on the roads of Chui region and Bishkek.
