President opens new school building in Tunguch microdistrict

Sadyr Japarov took part in the opening of a new school No. 73 in Tunguch microdistrict. Press service of the President reported.

According to it, this is one of 15 educational institutions built in the capital this year at the expense of the republican budget.

The head of state inspected the new three-story building designed for 550 students. He was shown classrooms and workshops, sports and assembly halls, a canteen, laboratories and other premises.

Sadyr Japarov stressed that the construction of educational institutions was the responsibility of the state, and the provision of quality education falls on the shoulders of teachers. The head of state also urged students to strive for good academic performance and obtaining in-depth knowledge that would be useful in later life.

The President spoke with teachers and parents of students, emphasizing that in just one year the state built 15 schools in Bishkek, which became possible, among other things, thanks to funds received from the fight against corruption. Teachers and parents asked questions about salaries and learning processes.
