At least $779.32 million was transferred from Kyrgyzstan to other countries for nine months of 2022. The National Bank provided such data.
Compared to the same period last year, the figure increased by $388.82 million, or almost doubled. It has already exceeded the data of 2021. Over the past year, $562.8 million was transferred from Kyrgyzstan to Russia.
In September, compared to August, the outflow of money from the country increased by $37 million, or by 27.7 percent, from $133.4 million to $170.4 million.
Since the beginning of the year, most of the funds have been transferred to Russia — $680.9 million. At the same time, in September, compared to August, the outflow decreased by $12 million.
On the other hand, transfers to non-CIS countries increased by 5.3 times.
If in August $11.5 million was transferred there, then in September it was already $60.9 million. Most of the funds were transferred to Turkey — $55.3 million. This figure was almost six times lower — $ 9.3 million in August.
In total, $88.9 million was transferred to non-CIS countries in the first nine months of 2022. This is 13 times higher than last year, when the outflow amounted to $6.9 million.
