Blogger Semetei Talas uulu was arrested. The head of Kylym Shamy human rights center Aziza Abdirasulova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the blogger is suspected of distributing extremist materials.
«Semetei Talas uulu will be placed in a temporary detention center. According to some reports, this is because a blogger’s post on Facebook dated February 18. Then he was summoned to the State Committee for National Security, but the proceedings were not started. Now, allegedly, the prosecutor’s office has resumed the investigation and instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs to conduct the investigation,» said Aziza Abdirasulova.
The blogger was summoned to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for interrogation on Monday. Employees came to his house and took him to the Investigation Service of the ministry.
