Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine expires on October 30. The Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis informed 24.kg news agency.
At least 100,600 doses of this vaccine were delivered to the republic in early August. However, there was no solvent for it in the batch, so vaccination was resumed at the end of August only.
A 90-day coronavirus vaccination campaign is currently underway in the republic. All citizens of the republic, who previously (four to six months ago) underwent a full course of vaccination with two doses, can get booster doses of the vaccine. In addition to Pfizer, Sinopharm vaccine is available in sufficient quantities.
According to the website vc.emed.gov.kg, the balance of vaccines in the Kyrgyz Republic is 1.4 million doses. At least 1.3 million people completed the full course of vaccination.
