Five CT scanners were bought for regional hospitals in Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to the ministry, the equipment was handed over to the Combined Hospitals in Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Jalal-Abad, Osh and Talas regions.
«Thanks to the purchased equipment, local doctors will be able to monitor the dynamics of diseases and conduct examinations directly in the hospital, without sending them to other clinics for diagnosis,» the ministry said.
The equipment was purchased as part of Emergency Response to COVID-19 and Enhancing Resilience to Disaster Risks in Kyrgyzstan projects of the World Bank.
