A meeting of the local community took place in Osh to elect delegates to the People’s Kurultai. Press service of the City Hall reported.
The meeting was held at Turan municipal territorial administration. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Сity Council, Salman Nazylbekov, and deputies of the City Council.
At least 59 candidates out of aksakals, civil activists were elected as delegates to the upcoming forum by open voting.
Similar meetings will be held from October 17 to October 25 in all districts of the city. In total, 500 representatives of the southern capital are expected to participate in the People’s Kurultai.
