Seven people were killed in a traffic accident on Bishkek — Osh highway, including a policeman and an employee of the Penitentiary Service. Traffic Police Department of Jalal-Abad region informed 24.kg news agency.
The road accident occurred at the 210th kilometer of the highway. Thirty-year-old resident of Toktogul district, when driving a Mercedes-Benz car, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Honda Stream. The second car was driven by a resident of the same area, 35-year-old man.
As a result, the drivers of both vehicles and passengers died at the scene: a 57-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man and a married couple. A 21-year-old girl died in the intensive care unit of the Toktogul district hospital without regaining consciousness.
A 19-year-old cadet of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and a six-year-old girl were hospitalized in the same hospital with various injuries.
The leadership of the Toktogul District Department of Internal Affairs, investigative group and employees of the prosecutor’s office left for the scene.
