Movement of traffic will be limited on some roads in Bishkek and Chui region on October 11 and October 12. Such measures are taken in connection with the state visit of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Department of the Road Patrol Service of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Manas Sydygaliev, told at a press conference.
Temporary traffic restrictions will be imposed on the following sections of roads during passage of motorcades:
- From Manas airport, along Fuchik Street to Chui Avenue;
- Along Chui Avenue, from Fuchik Street to Manas Avenue;
- Along Manas and Chingiz Aitmatov Avenues from Chui Avenue to the state residence;
- Along Baitik Baatyr Street from the state residence to Aaly Tokombaev Street;
- Along Akhunbaev Street from Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue to Dostoevsky Street;
- Along Sadyrbaev Street from the state residence to Ata-Beyit memorial complex;
- Along Sadyrbaev Street from the state residence to Ala-Archa natural park.
«In connection with the importance of the event, we ask you to take the imposed restrictions with understanding. In order to avoid congestion and traffic jams, we ask you to follow the rules of the road and the culture of behavior on the roads. Citizens departing, as well as traveling on these days abroad or to other regions of the country, are requested to come to the airport in advance,» Manas Sydygaliev said.
The Main Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and hopes that road users will take the introduction of the forced measures with understanding.
