Representative Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and the Deputy Director of the Bureau for Coordination of the Fight against Organized Crime of the CIS from the Kyrgyz Republic, Police Colonel Askat Aliyev held a meeting with the leadership of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. «Issues of developing interaction and fruitful cooperation between the two departments were discussed. The issues of innovations in the legislation adopted in the field of migration, issues of prevention of crimes among citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the Russian Federation were touched upon,» the statement says.
The parties also exchanged views on issues related to Vladimir Putin’s decree on announcement of partial mobilization. Representatives of the Department of the Migration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation called on their colleagues to carry out explanatory work among the citizens of Kyrgyzstan staying in Russia.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic temporarily staying and working in the Russian Federation, as well as students, are not subject to the announced partial mobilization into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
