President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. Press service of the head of state reported.
The head of Government of Uzbekistan arrived in Bishkek to participate in a joint meeting of government delegations on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.
Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that the outcome of the meeting would contribute to the speedy completion of the legal process of delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the further expansion and deepening of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest.
They also discussed the upcoming state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan and paid special attention to the implementation of joint plans and projects outlined during the visit.
