Prices of Moscow – Bishkek air tickets soar to 170,000 rubles

The cost of an air ticket from Moscow to Bishkek soared to 170,000 rubles. Social media users told.

A video of a conversation between a man and an employee of an air ticket office in Moscow has been published on the Internet. The price throws into confusion even the sellers.

«Oh, it costs more than 162,000 for today. There are no tickets for sale for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. There is for September 24, the cost is more than 170,000,» the employee said.

She also replied that the ticket offices had not yet received instructions on selling tickets to Russian citizens.

«Apparently, in connection with the mobilization, people buy tickets in all directions, in particular, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan — Bishkek and Osh, Tajikistan. Tickets to Tajikistan are bought, but people don’t like this price. A ticket to Armenia costs 200,000. This is terrible,» the airline ticket office employee added.

Two days ago, the cost of tickets from Moscow to Bishkek was about 130,000 soms.

According to the Kazakh airline Qazaq Air, all seats on its flights from Russia have been sold out until October 1. Its press service notes that on September 21-22, the loading of flights operated by the airline from the cities of the Russian Federation reached 100 percent (with a capacity of up to 86 passenger seats). At the same time, in August, the loading of flights from Russia was 73 percent.

Against this background, the Kazakh media report that the number of passenger cars traveling from Russia to Kazakhstan have increased by 20 percent. This growth has been observed since September 21. There is accumulation of cars on some sections of the border with Russia, especially in Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree declaring partial mobilization in the Russian Federation.
