Bishkek will be represented by 10 people at the People’s Kurultai. It was announced at an extraordinary session of the Bishkek City Council.
There is only one issue on the agenda — the draft resolution on implementation of the presidential decree on convocation of the People’s Kurultai dated August 15.
The document notes that the Kurultai of the local community of Bishkek for the nomination of delegates is scheduled for November 5, the representation rate is 800 delegates.
Chairman of the Bishkek City Council Kuvanychbek Kongantiev noted that candidates for the Bishkek kurultai would be nominated at local gatherings.
The deputies supported the draft resolution without discussion.
The first People’s Kurultai is planned to be held in the capital on November 25, 2022.
