Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov, will attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Due to meetings with the population in Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, stays in Kyrgyzstan.
The state delegation will be headed by Edil Baisalov.
The funeral of the British Queen Elizabeth II will take place on September 19. The official ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey in London. It is expected that the Queen’s funeral will be attended by the leaders of many states of the world. U.S. President Joe Biden and the Emperor of Japan Naruhito, in particular, announced their intention to come to London.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 at the age of 96. Her eldest son Charles is proclaimed the new King of Great Britain.
