Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev met with the Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and discussed issues of cooperation in the migration sector. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation Gulnara-Klara Samat, Director of the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad Kubandyk Akmatbekov, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Gorov and the head of the Main Directorate for Migration Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Valentina Kazakova.
The parties discussed problematic issues related to the stay of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the procedure for their migration registration.
The Kyrgyz side made specific proposals to address the aforementioned issues in order to improve migration procedures for citizens of Kyrgyzstan on the territory of the Russian Federation.
«Following the results of the meeting, the Russian side took into account the proposals of the Kyrgyz side and an agreement was reached to consolidate efforts in order to resolve problematic issues,» the Foreign Ministry concluded.
