A man was detained on suspicion of murder in Issyk-Ata district of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
On September 11, the police received a message from the territorial hospital about the hospitalization of a 33-year-old woman with bodily injuries. She died in intensive care unit.
«A criminal case has been initiated under the article «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. It turned out during the investigation that the 40-year-old husband beat his wife in Krasnaya Rechka village as a result of a drunken quarrel. The injuries led to death. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention center,» the department said.
